metallurgical grade silicon

As we all know, in the ferroalloy industry, steelmaking industry and casting industry, metallurgical grade silicon   can be said to be very popular, it can be made into alloys with many metals, and then improve the metal properties, such as silicon aluminum alloy, ferrosilicon alloy and silicon manganese alloy and so on.  

 
At the same time, metallurgical grade silicon  in steel production, mainly used as molten metal deoxidizer, or as alloy additives to increase the strength of steel and improve its performance.  Silicon is also an effective stone grinding medium, which can change the carbon in cast iron into free stone grinding carbon, and a large amount of manganese and silicon are added to the molten steel in the form of ferroalloy.
