Particle size of long-acting inoculant (sila-barium inoculant) :

0-0.25mm: for intratype inoculation (inoculation is accurate and more efficient)

0.2-1mm: used for inoculation with current (inoculation amount is more accurate)

1-3mm, 3-8mm for inoculation in the bag (inoculation time must be controlled at more than 70% of the time of iron production)

8-15mm for inoculation in the furnace

It is mainly used in the inoculation of nodular cast iron and gray cast iron. Si-barium inoculant strongly increases graphitization core, refines graphite, promotes the obtaining of A-type graphite in gray cast iron, improves the strength, for ductile iron can make the graphite in ductile iron fine, round, and improve the grade of spheroidization. Strong recession-resistant capability, while preventing the associated spherification recession. The sensitivity of wall thickness is small and the tissue is uniform. It is used as inoculant and spheroidizer in cast iron industry.
