Silicon-carbon alloy is a new type of alloy used in converter, which can replace ferrosilicon, silicon carbide and carburizer, reduce the amount of deoxidizer, and be used in converter smelting deoxidization and alloying process.
High carbon silicon is a good substitute for iron and silicon in steelmaking.
