(1) Both calcium and silicon have a strong affinity with oxygen, which is an ideal compound deoxidizer and desulfurizer. Silicon alloy not only has strong deoxidization ability, deoxidization product is easy to float up, easy to discharge, but also can improve the performance of steel, improve the plasticity, impact toughness and fluidity of steel.

(2) Si-Ca alloy is also suitable for the converter steel workshop with the warming agent, Si-Ca alloy can also be used as cast iron inoculant and ductile iron production of additives.
